In honor of Earth Day, we're highlighting six of our favorite sustainable brands making a difference with their quality, eco-friendly products. Wee Gallery specializes in creating modern, art-inspired products for babies and young children up to 5 years old. Based in Florida and started by two parents, the company aims to support children’s development through visual art. Based in California, Green Toys combines sustainability with play by transforming recycled milk containers into imaginative toys for toddlers. Their method is not only reducing plastic waste, it’s also providing innovative products that inspire children to use their imaginations. WildBird makes versatile and stylish baby carriers made from sustainable flax linen grown in Belgium. ‘From seed to sling,’ as they say, the transparency they provide customers on their sustainable manufacturing processes is outstanding. Not only is Belgian flax irrigated completely with rainwater, but every part of the flax harvest is used for various products, including the dust! The company uses fully biodegradable packing to ship their fabrics, and their dying process follows the strictest European regulations. All of their clothing and bedding are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton grown without harmful chemicals for a lower pollutive impact. Many of their products are made by hand, reducing their carbon footprint.
